Hollyland Mars 400S HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmitter Kit The Mars 400S from Hollyland is a 1080p60 wireless video transmitter/receiver system with a range of up to 120m line of sight. In a compact design, both the transmitter and receiver feature SDI and HDMI connections. The choice between the two connection types expands your compatibility options and also allows you to grow if you currently only need one. Wi-Fi Transmission to 4 Mobile Devices The transmitter can also send the signal via built-in Wi-Fi to up to four mobile devices, regardless of whether it is transmitting to a receiver at the same time. This allows different people/departments on set to view the image. The image is sent to the HollyView app, compatible with iOS and Android. Works just as well with an iPad. Sony NP-L Battery Plate Both the transmitter and receiver feature built-in L-series battery plates and also support external power via DC input. Batteries are sold separately. A power adapter is included to get started with the receiver. OLED Screen Both units also have an OLED screen that displays resolution, transmission channel, signal strength, and other details. The screen also provides a low-battery warning when about 30 minutes of runtime remain. Channel Scan Function One of the Mars 400 system’s features is a channel scan function. Through the OLED screen, you can see the status of each available transmission channel in your current environment. This function lets you know which channels are clear and which have interference. Scene Mode Another function is scene mode selection, allowing you to choose between three different scene modes best suited to your environment. The three modes let you prioritize video quality, low latency, or a balance between the two. The transmitter and receiver are each approximately 4.5 x 2.5” in size and feature a robust yet lightweight metal housing.
